About Dr Ng
Dr Ng Zhi Yang is a dual-accredited (UK & Singapore) plastic surgeon practising in Singapore. He is accredited by both the General Medical Council in the UK, and the Ministry of Health (MOH) in Singapore as a specialist, and holds fellowships in international surgical societies including FRCS (Plast), EBOPRAS and EBHS.

His practice spans reconstructive, hand and cosmetic surgery, with particular emphasis on primary and revision cosmetic procedures. He integrates functional considerations with aesthetic judgement, emphasising patient selection, respecting individual anatomy, and long-term structural outcomes.

Dr Ng's consultative approach focuses on assessing patient concerns, discussing all valid options, and proceeding when appropriate. He is committed to providing a calm and supportive environment where every patient can approach plastic surgery with confidence.

My Approach to Plastic Surgery

From the first consultation, my goal is to ensure that each person feels listened to, understood and well-informed. I believe that trust is built not through promises, but through clarity, consistency and attention to detail.
I do not believe in “signature” procedures. Every well-trained plastic surgeon should be competent across the full spectrum of aesthetic surgery. What sets outcomes apart is not a proprietary method, but a deep understanding of anatomy, patient selection and meticulous execution. My focus is therefore on precision and planning, rather than marketing procedures under new names.
Every person’s anatomy, goals and healing process are unique. In Singapore, medical professionals are not permitted to display before-and-after images - a regulation I actually support, as results will vary for each individual. The best way to understand what’s achievable for you is through a personal consultation. My approach blends international surgical precision with an understanding of diverse aesthetic ideals.

Innovation & 3D Planning
For selected cases, 3D planning tools are used to support pre-operative surgical planning and analysis for operative preparation. This allows for more detailed anatomical assessment and thoughtful procedural planning, particularly in complex or revision cases.

I have also utilised 3D printing technology for microsurgical training, as well as post-operative support.

Professional Mentorship
I offer selective, one-to-one mentorship for doctors seeking to refine their anatomical understanding, aesthetic judgement, and procedural precision in non-surgical facial aesthetic treatments.

This is designed for doctors who value restraint, structure and long-term tissue integrity over trend-driven approaches.
