Cosmetic Surgery
Cosmetic surgery can serve many purposes, including restoring balance, refining structure, or aligning appearance with identity. As a dual-accredited (UK & Singapore) Plastic Surgeon practising in Singapore, I offer cosmetic procedures grounded in safety, proportion, and considered decision-making.
Wanting to look your best is part of human nature. Choosing cosmetic surgery, however, is a deeply personal decision - one that can feel exciting, yet also daunting. In today’s world, where cosmetic procedures are sometimes marketed as quick fixes, it’s important to pause, reflect, and make an informed choice.
Why Consider Cosmetic Surgery?
Cosmetic or aesthetic surgery can improve harmony, balance, and confidence - but only when it’s both safe and appropriate. My role as your plastic surgeon is to guide you carefully through that decision, considering:
-
Physical factors: overall health, medical conditions (such as heart, lung, or kidney disease), and healing issues such as connective tissue disorders, clotting abnormalities, and smoking
-
Psychological factors: motivations are just as important. Are you making this decision after a major life change such as a divorce or separation? Are you influenced by social media trends or external pressure? Or are you pursuing a goal that aligns with your authentic self?
My Approach to Cosmetic Surgery
Every patient’s journey begins with an open conversation. I take the time to understand your goals, motivations, and expectations, and to discuss whether they’re realistic and achievable.
Guided by principles of luxury experience design, where every detail serves the person, I ensure meticulous planning, precision in execution, and attentive recovery support. Your comfort, privacy, and confidence remain central at every step.

To ensure you have time to reflect, I follow international standards of care: at least two in-person consultations before proceeding with surgery. This allows you to make a confident, informed decision - on your own or with the support of loved ones.
My Philosophy
With so many options and opinions online, it’s easy to feel overwhelmed. My practice is guided by three simple but essential principles:
-
Safety first - protecting your health above all else
-
Evidence-based care - using proven methods and techniques
-
Preserving individuality - enhancing your natural features rather than changing who you are

A Note on Fees
Cosmetic surgical procedures typically involve total fees (including surgeon, anaesthetist, and facility costs) in the five-figure range (Singapore dollars), depending on the nature of the surgery, complexity and clinical setting.
A formal consultation (charged separately) is required to determine suitability, scope and the most appropriate treatment plan.

If a procedure you’re interested in isn’t listed, please feel free to reach out still - it may be known by a different name or variation.

Frequently Asked Questions

1. How do I know if I’m a suitable candidate for cosmetic surgery?
Suitability depends on several factors: your general health, motivations, and whether your goals align with what surgery can safely achieve. These are explored carefully during consultation, with space for reflection before any decision is made.
2. How long should I take to decide on surgery?
There is no urgency. I follow international standards recommending at least two in-person consultations before proceeding. You should feel informed, confident and unpressured, whether you decide to proceed, postpone, or not pursue surgery at all.
3. Where are procedures performed?
My procedures are performed in accredited day surgery centres in Singapore, under local anaesthesia with light sedation where appropriate. This provides a safe, private environment with modern monitoring and typically allows a smoother recovery compared with hospital admission, which risks infection and increases costs to you.
4. What is recovery like after cosmetic surgery?
Recovery varies depending on the procedure, but most patients can resume desk-based work within several days to two weeks. Bruising, swelling and scar maturation continue to evolve over months. I guide you through each stage with clear expectations and evidence-based aftercare through my dedicated aftercare service Doctor Stitch.

5. Will the results look natural?
My aesthetic philosophy prioritises proportion, restraint, and preserving individuality. The aim is not to change who you are, but to refine or restore harmony in a way that feels authentic to you.
